Golf in Somerset West
The Helderberg boasts with four 18-hole golf courses. One is the Gary Player designed Erinvale Golf Course which hosted the World Cup Golf Tournament in 1996. Then there is the Somerset West Country Club and Strand Golf Course where golf equipment can be hired. In November 2000 another premium 18-hole golf course, Kleine Zalze, opened just outside Somerset West. This golf course was designed by Peter Matkovitch.
For the novices and to practise your swing and put, we have the Vodacom Golf Village driving range where you can practice your shots.
